Steve's Bio
Steve Fogle started his professional career in 1988 in Field Claims for The Cincinnati Insurance Company (“CIC”). While handling claims during the day, Steve attended Capital University Law School’s night program. Steve received his JD in May 1993, and passed the July Bar exam that same year.
After defending insureds in all manner of civil litigation, Steve joined a plaintiffs firm, and had the honor of representing injured people for several years. He rejoined CIC as a claims supervisor, eventually supervising complex litigated files throughout the U.S.
He was then tasked with developing the insurance program for senior healthcare facilities as part of CIC’s Target Market Group. The program included all aspects of these facilities, including developing professional coverages.
Afterward, Steve joined the Management Liability Claims group, and supervised Employment, Directors & Officers, Fiduciary, and Educator’s Legal claims across the country.
Whether as any attorney representing clients, or in his role managing litigated files, Steve has participated successfully in hundreds of mediations throughout the U.S.
Throughout his career, Steve has had the pleasure of teaching classes to legal and insurance professionals around the country.
Steve and Ellen have been married since 1986, and have three children, and two grandchildren.
Active in church, Steve has been president of church councils several times, and in recent years has helped found his current congregation.
Steve enjoys reading and researching history, producing podcasts on history and faith, and traveling. Steve has been to 49 states, with one left to go. Ask him which one is left!
